The RSE Project (Relationships and Sexuality Education)

Organisers

The RSE Project, based at Curtin University, provides support for Western Australian schools to deliver comprehensive and evidence-based relationships and sexuality education. The RSE Project focuses on supporting teachers (both pre-service and in-service) to deliver RSE in schools. As they strongly advocate that schools embrace a whole-school approach to RSE, so also support school administrators, support staff, community health nurses and others who work in schools.

The RSE Project offers high-quality professional learning events and presentations delivered by Curtin University academics, Western Australian school staff and a number of carefully chosen external providers.

Professional development events cover a broad range of topics related to RSE, are mostly free or very low cost and include:

  • two-day workshops

  • after school seminars

  • symposiums

  • tertiary education units

  • customised presentations or workshops

Face -to-face and online events are offered at multiple times throughout the year.

Visit The RSE Project website for more information

Location

The RSE Project is based in Perth. Most events are hosted in Perth, however the RSE Project does travel to regional areas. Online events are also available.
