Interview

This strategy will help students to:

• reflect on their own and other's values and beliefs regarding a specific topic

• work collaboratively to learn from and share with others.

Implementation

Students ask a partner a series of questions and record the responses their partner gives.

Example: Greeting people

Divide the class into pairs. Ask students to interview their partner to find out how they would greet a variety of different people at a family gathering. Students record their partner's responses and ask them to reflect on why we greet different people in different ways.
