The following resources are all available for free from the WA Department of Health.

Please email SHBBVP@health.wa.gov.au for free copies of books or brochures to be delivered anywhere in WA.

Bulk orders can also be arranged for education and health services.

For young people

Puberty

For young people around 9 - 13 years covering topics such as physical, emotional and social changes of puberty.

 

Relationships, sex and other stuff

For young people around 12 - 16 years covering topics such as friendships, romantic relationships, sexual feelings, sexual relationships, consent, safer sex, pregnancy, STIs and more.

 

Sexting wallet card

Information on the laws around sexting, things to consider before sending a nude or sexy image and where to get help if your images have been shared non-consensually. For young people around 11-17 years.

Sexual health information for teens. Topics include: bodies, consent, relationships, sex, STIs, contraception, and more. Includes 'find a free condom', 'find a service' and 'ask a question' features.

Hardcopy book for parents talking to their kids about relationships and sex. Age and stage appropriate information for 0-18 years.
